We are excited to announce that we have started a new non-profit organization called the Innoventis Foundation. We created it because we want to give back to the tech community and help IT in Poland grow.

What We Want to Do

We have a few main goals for the foundation:

• Supporting Cloud Native events: We love the Cloud Native community. We already helped organize KCD Warsaw 2025. Now that we are an official foundation, we plan to help even more with the 2026 event.
• Building better tools with AI: We want to help develop tools that use AI to make platform engineering easier and better.
• Helping the Polish IT scene: We want to support events and projects in Poland that promote new technology. We want to make sure Polish IT stays modern and innovative.

Being a non-profit organization is quite a challenge, but we hope to gather funds and support from the community to make it possible. We are also looking for volunteers to help us with the foundation so please let us know if you are interested.

A Personal Step for Me

Being the chairman of this foundation is a big step for me. It is a great way for me to grow and learn how to lead an organization. I am naturally an introvert, so I am looking forward to meeting new people. I hope to build good relationships with other tech fans and volunteers who care about the same things I do.
I’ve always wanted to contribute in other ways than just working on code, providing commercial services like training or consulting. I believe that this foundation will allow me to do that. I also want to give back to the community, as I have been helped by many people in the past.

The Big Challenge

The hardest part will be time. I have to find a good balance between my regular job, my personal life, and all the work for the foundation. It won’t be easy, but I expect to learn a lot and have plenty of fun along the way.
